We look forward to receiving applications from Account Managers to join our creative team. You will focus on the accurate and timely delivery of creative work, ensuring commercial success for both the client and the agency. This is the ideal role for someone who is motivated and talented in building client relationships.


Profile and responsibilities:
  • Build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients while ensuring a rigorous client management and workflow system.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients. This includes identifying advertising requirements, negotiating contracts, drawing up cost estimates/invoicing, controlling costs, and admin.
  • Manage campaigns from concept to roll-out and reporting.
  • Ensure a constant and effective flow of communication between the agency, the client, and suppliers.
  • Have a good understanding of TTL campaigns and the digital marketing landscape, and maintain an active knowledge of the industry and world trends for proactive client advice.
  • Participate and assist with new business pitches.
  • Plan and conduct desktop and field market research.
  • Develop an understanding of marketing strategies and tactics that will be appropriate and effective for your clients.
  • Get involved in brand planning workshops.
  • Champion and demonstrate a passion for the agency’s creative output.
  • Demonstrate organisational and time management skills to effectively manage work requirements.
  • Ensure that contact reports are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Create case studies for past campaigns.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with new business team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed


1. Education:

National diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management, or a related field.

2. Experience:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in account management, client service or project management
  • Developing relationships with a portfolio of diverse clients.
  • Experience working on various campaigns at the same time
  • Understanding of performance analytics and interpreting data into meaningful insights/actionable next steps.
  • Excellent account management skills with a high level of accountability and experience in taking on multiple client accounts and getting them flowing well and efficiently. The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook is essential.
  • A firm grasp of current visual, aesthetic, design, and creative direction trends - able to easily direct and ensure both written and visual compliance on brands.
  • Ensure that the creative output matches the client’s brief and the organisation’s standards, as well as being compliant with all the necessary legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and be a pro at sales, budgeting, invoicing, and negotiating, etc.
3. Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good understanding of marketing and digital channels (social media, web, content, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
  • Basic budgeting and reporting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with tools like Chase, MS Office, or similar platforms.
  • Highly reliable, organised, efficient and great at multitasking.
  • Solution-focused, flexible, available and excellent at crisis management.
  • Be a stickler for deadlines and punctuality.
  • Able to establish and hold healthy client boundaries.
  • Be an advocate for teamwork but also be able to work and think independently.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Advertising agency experience is a must.
