Job description

The services of an experienced Project Coordinator are required to provide logistical project coordination services to meet the requirements of 2 projects, viz a Creative Industries Technology and Ecosystem Enablement Programme, and a Design Led Competitive Advantage Programme, both of which focus on building the creative industry eco-system and networks, boosting competitiveness, fostering inclusivity and sustainability to catalyse grwoth of SMMEs and the sector.

The incumbent will be required to co-ordinate and manage:
  • All project activities including coordinating the provision of services from CDI internal and external service providers to deliver quality activities
  • The collection of participant feedback and evaluation data for project improvements and reporting and the gathering and archiving all project related documentation
  • The collection and submission of invoices and tracking of expenditure against the project budgets
  • Gathering of all reporting and evidence data for reporting to the funder, including the preparation of draft reports
The project activities for the 2 projects include:

Technology and ecosystem enablement programme
  • Quarterly Creative Exchange events
  • Quarterly Master Classes
  • Annual Innovation Activition / Dialogue / Exhibition
  • Curate topics for quarterly digital promotional canpaigns which stimulate new knowledge and build linkages
WC Design-Led Competitive Advantage Programme
  • Creative Exchange event
  • Design Innovation workshops
  • Business Development workshops

A service level agreement will be entered into with the successful candidate.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:
  • A tertiary qualification in business administration, project management or a related field
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience in project coordination
  • Good communication and strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good report writing skills
