Position Overview:

As a Finance and Operations Lead in the Investment team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial and operational support functions that contribute to the success of our Trading & Investment team. This position requires a person with a strong background in media administration & operations, finance systems, and exceptional attention to detail. The role will also work with the agency Business Unit Directors, Strategists, Planners and Buyers ensuring accuracy, adherence to client requests, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:
  • Drive the investment team’s operational excellence working to ensure we deliver the highest levels of trading compliance, governance, processes and workflows.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and strategise on improvements.
  • Implement operational changes, leverage our Publicis tools and platforms to drive efficiency within the Investment team.
Financial Oversight:
  • Oversee the reconciliation of invoice discrepancies by pro-actively communicating with external partners and planning and buying teams.
  • Monitor variances between planned and invoice amounts using Salesforce and Planner/Buyer input, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding client financial information and media plans.

Process Optimization:
  • Implement and optimise procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy in processing and clearing invoices.
  • Streamline workflows and identify opportunities for improvement in financial systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree with expertise in operations and finance.
  • Previous experience in a media operations or finance role.
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with technology tools such as Salesforce etc.
