Job descriptionWe’re looking for a highly organised, socially savvy Virtual Personal Assistant to support a busy founder, author, and international keynote speaker. Experience from advertising, marketing, communications, or sustainability is a strong plus.This is a hybrid role combining personal assistant support and content creation, and PR-amplification. You’ll work closely with the founder to keep the business running smoothly and help grow a global personal brand across speaking, books, media, and social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a virtual role, enjoys working closely with a founder, likes variety, works fast and independently, and cares about ideas, impact, and storytelling - particularly within marketing, sustainability, and leadership. Success in this role means the founder’s day runs smoothly, opportunities don’t fall through the cracks, and the brand shows up consistently and professionally across channels. This is a full-time remote role with the opportunity to grow - and truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities Founder & Business Support Daily email monitoring and correspondence with clients, partners, and event hosts Calendar management across multiple time zones Travel planning and coordination for international speaking engagements Event tracking, bookings, submissions, and follow-ups Contract coordination and administrative support for speaking requests G-Drive filing, document organisation, and backend admin support Basic project coordination across ongoing initiatives Content, Social & Brand Support Writing and editing short-form content (social posts, newsletters, blog updates) Social media scheduling, commenting, and engagement support Newsletter creation and scheduling Podcast outreach, booking coordination, and preparation (including research) Press and outreach support related to books, talks, and media opportunities Simple content creation in Canva (graphics, slides, visuals) Backend website updates and support (Squarespace experience is a plus) Who You Are Highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities A strong written communicator with a feel for tone, clarity, and storytelling Confident working with social media and digital platforms Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working independently Interested in marketing, branding, sustainability, or leadership Comfortable working remotely with a global network Calm, trustworthy, and detail-oriented — you make things run smoothly Bonus Points CRM management experience (Nimble or similar) Workflow, systems, or automation experience Graphic or design skills (Canva, basic visual layouts) Squarespace experience Experience supporting founders, speakers, or personal brands Familiarity with international / remote-first work environments Company DescriptionThomas Kolster is a globally recognised marketing activist, bestselling author and entrepreneur working at the intersection of brands, people and planet.
