Although we are based in Australia, this is a full-time remote position being recruited in South Africa and the Philippines.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist (5+ years’ experience) with a proven track record of delivering measurable organic growth that translates into real revenue.

This is not a role for someone who focuses on rankings alone.

We are looking for someone who understands that:
  • Rankings without traffic are meaningless
  • Traffic without conversions is vanity
  • SEO must generate measurable ROI

You will be accountable not just for ranking commercial keywords — but for driving qualified visitors and proving that the traffic generated produces leads and/or e-commerce sales.

If Google Ads dominates certain search results, you must know how to identify opportunities where organic traffic can still win and produce measurable commercial impact.

Success in this role means:

  • Demonstrating measurable ROI from SEO efforts

Key Responsibilities

You will take full ownership of SEO strategy and implementation across our client portfolio.

On-Page SEO and Revenue-Focused Content
  • Conduct advanced keyword research focused on sales-driving intent
  • Identify high-impact keywords with real traffic potential
  • Avoid vanity rankings with no commercial value
  • Create and optimise high-quality, conversion-focused SEO content
  • Structure pages around search intent and conversion outcomes
  • Build strong internal linking strategies

Technical SEO
  • Conduct technical audits and resolve core issues
  • Improve crawlability, indexing, and site architecture
  • Optimise site speed and Core Web Vitals
  • Implement schema markup
  • Ensure technical health supports rankings and performance

Local SEO
  • Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Local search and map pack ranking improvements
  • Local citation strategy

AI and Modern Search Optimisation
  • Implement AI-informed optimisation strategies
  • Optimise for evolving AI-assisted search environments
  • Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and results
  • Ensure social and content ecosystems support organic performance

You must be able to both develop strategy and execute implementation yourself.

We are not looking for someone who proposes ideas and blames others if results are not achieved.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership and proves performance.

Experience and Skills Required
  • 5+ years of professional SEO experience
  • Proven track record of increasing rankings and qualified organic traffic
  • Clear evidence of SEO campaigns that generated measurable leads or revenue
  • Strong experience in on-page SEO and content creation
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO
  • Experience with Local SEO (Google Business Profile optimisation)
  • Strong commercial mindset — understands revenue impact
  • Experience using leading SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Ability to independently execute both strategy and implementation

You must be able to demonstrate past campaigns where SEO generated real ROI.

Accountability

You will be directly responsible for:
  • Increasing qualified organic traffic
  • Improving rankings for commercially valuable keywords with real search volume
  • Driving measurable growth in leads and/or e-commerce sales
  • Proving SEO ROI through data

We do not measure success by reports.
We measure success by results.
