IT Manager

We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team and oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. The successful candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering IT projects.


Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT team including assigning tasks and providing guidance and mentor staff
• Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of laptops and devices, servers and network infrastructure
• Manage data centres and backup systems for large media files and ensure high availability of systems used for content productions
• Develop and implement IT strategy that aligns with business objectives
• Oversee IT projects including planning, execution and delivery
• Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Plan and manage daily IT operations (systems, networks and infrastructure) and ensure timely resolution of user issues
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and track usage and lifecycle of IT assets
• Keep reports on system performance, incidents and improvements.
• Stay updated with new technologies and trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information technology or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT management
• 1-3 years in a management or supervisory role
• Strong technical skills including knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, servers, storage systems and cloud computing and cyber security
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects
