Qualifications and Skills
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills: 
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.
  • 3 Years of practical experience in a hospitality environment as a Cashier.
  • Good customer service.
  • Ability to handle pressure.
  • Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
  • Must be able to work shifts.
  • Team player.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Must have own accommodation & transport.

Essential Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure all speed point slips are accounted for & balanced to the end-of-day printout.
  • Ensure the cash-up form is completed and signed.
  • Request the manager to check and sign the cash-up form.
  • Secure the immediate explanation and rectification of variances.
  • Ensure all selected tickets are captured and issued/sold as per the correct procedure.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, and dress code.
  • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest
  • experience.
  • Explain operations and procedures to new arrivals.
  • Be hands-on and action all resources and ensure arrangements are in place and the correct items are available for the shift.
  • Ensure that stacking and storage are done as per company standards and regulations.
  • Perform relevant duties as and when required by management.
