Job contextmaintains sanitary, tidy environments (offices,public areas) by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Job description
- Cleaning and sanitizing: Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors; cleaning countertops, light fixtures, and windows.
- Restroom sanitation: Thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking toilets, sinks, and restrooms.
- Waste management: Emptying trash cans and recycling bins, disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Common areas and offices: Dusting surfaces, cleaning furniture, and disinfecting high-touch areas like door handles and light switches.
- Kitchen/pantry maintenance: Cleaning surfaces, appliances, cupboards, and washing dishes.
- Stock maintenance: Monitoring inventory and refilling supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Safety and reporting: Following health and safety guidelines, using chemical cleaners safely, and reporting repairs or hazards to management.
Requirements
- Preferable South African Citizen
- Clear Criminal Record
- Must be able to speak, drivers licence, write and understand English
- Previous Supervisory experience advantageous from a hygiene
- Company, C.V., Cleaning and Hygiene Certificate, certified copies of ID, SAR, certified copy of school report. Certified copies of any / all training certificates
