A high-impact, specialist software business within the logistics and supply chain sector is looking for a skilled and detail-driven C# .NET Software Developer to join its tight-knit development team based in Kempton Park (East Rand). If you’re keen to learn, value mentorship, and thrive in a small, collaborative environment, this could be a great fit.
This role is ideal for a developer who takes pride in clean, well-structured code and enjoys building practical, real-world systems that connect software solutions with physical operations.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC
• Build and maintain Web APIs (.NET Web API) for internal and external integrations
• Develop RabbitMQ consumers for data processing
• Optimise SQL Server databases, queries, and schemas for high-volume transactional systems
• Translate complex logistics workflows into robust, maintainable software solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal client disruption
• Collaborate closely with a small, highly engaged development team

Essential Technical Requirements:
• Proven, hands-on experience developing with C# and .NET
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency systems
• Strong experience developing and consuming Web APIs
• Solid SQL Server skills (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Experience using Git for version control
Reference Number for this position is CL60979 which is a permanent position based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg offering a cost to company salary of up to R780K per annum depending on experience and ability.
