Digital Co-Ordinator (Freelance)

BYY Strategic Services is looking for a freelance digital co-ordinator that will be responsible for ensuring that the online content plan is planned, approved, executed and delivered to the right people at the right time with the right message. This will be across various brands and social mediums.

Main Responsibilities:

• Social media content plan and calendar
• Social media content creation (images, creative, video, copy)
• Social media content loading, approvals and scheduling
• Capturing and co-ordination of social content events, activations, interviews etc.
• Website content loading (blogs and media releases)
• Co-ordinate timelines, approvals and processes
• Reporting on all online activity
• Co-ordinating online competitions
• Community management
• Paid advertising
• Maintain the content calendar and records
• General administrative duties related to digital content
• Keep your fingers on the pulse of the latest trends, standards and best practices in the world of value-added services #MindingYourBusiness

Kindly note:

• This is a freelance position in Johannesburg
• Candidate to be available to work some weekends, if the job calls for it

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with:
• CANVA
• Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Meta Business Suite etc.)
• Social media platforms
• Digital marketing
• Analytic tools
• Paid advertising
• Content Creation
• Skilled in the latest tools and research in all things digital
• Knowledge of AI is a plus
