Travel Industry Account Executive

Our Media client are a specialist Division of a group established over 50 years ago, and market leaders in their Business-To-Business focus industry sectors, being Hospitality, Travel and Trade Industries.

About the business:

This Division is South Africa's premier business-to-business online Travel information channel connecting suppliers and Travel Agents. They promote and provide up-to-date communication of travel products serving nearly 800 000 page views per month to more than 9 000 readers.

They strive to be the most effective business-to-business online service in the travel industry. The directory maintains information of such relevance to its target readership of retail travel consultants that it has transformed the way the South African travel industry operates. 

The role:

This is a multi-faceted role requiring Travel industry knowledge (such as VISA regulations); Client Management and New & Repeat Business sales; Administrative Skills, in particular the updating of Supplier information (Zero Outdated Information standard); Spreadsheet Tracking and CRM monitoring; Excellent negotiation skills managing Renewals of contracts.

Experience and skills:

• Experience in travel operations, account management, and structured research abilities
• Detail-orientated and process-driven
• Confident communicator with embassies and business clients
• Organised, accountable, and comfortable working towards targets

Note: This role is based in the Offices of client in Sandton. A full-time role that is not hybrid or remote.
